Review takeover requests for clubs without leadership
Anyone who wants to take over the administration of a club without leadership files a request – the higher-level leadership decides.

- You are owner or admin of a higher-level organization (for example the association).
- Second factor (passkey or authenticator app) set up if you decide as a platform role.
Chi può farlo?
The leadership (owner or admin) of the nearest higher-level organization that itself has leadership is responsible. If there is none, platform moderation decides; it may also decide any request as a fallback. There is never an automatic takeover.
Passo dopo passo
Open the requests
Open “Takeover requests” (also via “Administration & moderation” or as a task). It lists people who want to take over the administration of a club without leadership.
Read the evidence
Each request shows the organization, the member count, “Responsible: {name}” and the person’s evidence text (role, membership number or who authorized them; at least 20 characters).
Decide
Check the evidence carefully: on approval the person becomes owner. Click “Hand over administration” and confirm, or “Decline” with a reason.
Consequences
On approval, waiting join requests go to the new owner and other open takeover requests for the same organization are declined. The applicant learns the decision; the reason is stored internally only.

Errori comuni e soluzioni
- “A refusal needs a short reason.”
- Enter a short text under “Reason”.
- “The organization now has an administration. Decline the request.”
- Leadership has emerged in the meantime; decline the request.
- “This request has already been decided.”
- Another responsible person was faster. Reload the list.
Da sapere
- After a refusal the person can only apply again after 30 days; at most three open requests per person. Open requests lapse after 90 days, decided ones are deleted after 365 days.
- The evidence text is encrypted and readable only by the reviewing body. Association leadership sees these requests even without verification because that is the purpose of the feature.
