  2. Stammdaten bearbeiten öffnet das Formular. Oben stehen Name, Kurzname und Beschreibung.
  8. Zum Schluss speicherst du die Änderungen. Du kannst alles später jederzeit wieder ändern.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in and have at least the Administration role in the club.

Who may do this?

Administration and leadership may edit the master data (permission “Manage the organization”). Only the leadership may delete. Everyone else sees “You may not edit these details”.

Step by step

  1. Open the master data

Open the “Manage” tab of the organization and choose “Edit master data”. At the top it says which fields are public (name, place, description) and which are for members only (contact, street).

  2. Basic data and description

Under “Basic data” enter name, full name, short name and description. Describe what you stand for, what you do and who is welcome.

  3. Logo and cover image

Under “Logo and cover image” upload your own images or choose a logo or cover image from the selection. Your own logo takes precedence over the selection.

  4. Visibility and joining

Decide who sees the page (Who sees this page?) and who may join (Who may join?). “Anyone on the internet” means visible without signing in and to search engines. People can always follow without being a member.

  5. Contact, rules and setup

Add address and contact, category, age range and accessibility. Under “Rules” switch “Posts must be approved” and “Facilities can be booked” on or off. Under “Setup” choose the color and the order of comments.

  6. Save

Click “Save changes”. On success “Changes saved.” appears. If you leave the page earlier it warns you about unsaved changes.

  7. Set member list and two-factor protection

On the “Manage” page, under “Who sees the member list?” decide whether only the leadership or all members see the names. With “Leadership needs a second factor (2FA)” you require leaders to have set up an authenticator app or a passkey.

You can find the feature here: /organisation/<kennung>/bearbeiten

Common errors and solutions

“Please check the marked fields.”
A required field or a format is wrong, for example a website without https:// in front. Correct the marked fields.
“Saving did not work.”
Try again later. If you no longer have the permission you see “Saving not possible”.
“There was nothing to save.”
You have not changed anything. Adjust a field and save again.
“You may not edit these details”
You lack at least the Administration role. Ask the leadership to give you the role or an office with a suitable role.

Good to know

  • Do not write names or contact details of individuals into the public description.
  • The membership fee here is information only. CLUP.life does not process payments.
  • The type of organization (club, association, group) cannot be changed after creation.
  • Only the leadership can delete the organization. You must type the name to confirm.
