Evaluate a poll, fix the date and close the poll

   Open the poll

   Open the poll via “Polls” in club life or via the notification. At the top are the creator, deadline and status (“Open” or “Closed”), plus “… of … have voted”.

   Read the results

   For date polls each row shows the number of Yes, Maybe and No answers; “Most acceptances” marks the leader. With “Who? (…)” you see who answered how – if the poll is not anonymous and you may see names.

   Fix the date

   For a date poll choose “Fix this date” and confirm “Create event”. An event is created, the poll is closed afterwards and everyone who said Yes or Maybe is entered directly.

   Close without a date

   With “Close without event” you end the poll without creating an event (“The poll is closed.”).

   Delete the poll

   With “Delete poll” and confirmation you remove the poll with all answers. An event already created remains.

Erreurs fréquentes et solutions

“Results appear after the poll ends.” / “You see the results as soon as you have answered.”

This is the poll’s setting. Answer the poll or wait until the end.

“Only the creator or the administration can close the poll.” (similar for deleting)

You lack the permission. Ask the person who created the poll, or the leadership.

“This poll is already closed.”

A closed poll cannot be closed again.

“Only date polls can be turned into an event.”

Use “Create event” only with the type “Find a date”. Otherwise create the event yourself under “Create event”.

“This poll does not exist or you may not see it”

The poll was deleted or is aimed at another audience.
