Create a donation appeal and follow pledges
How to start an appeal with a target and bank details so members can make non-binding pledges.

- You have the right “Manage finances” in the club (owner, administrator or a matching office).

Anyone with “Manage finances” can create, end and delete appeals. Members with an adult account see the appeal and can pledge; child accounts cannot pledge.
Adım adım
Manage donation appeals
Open “Club life”, switch to “Leadership” and choose “Manage donation appeals” in “Money and funding”. Click “Create donation appeal” (the first time “Create first appeal”).
Describe the appeal
Enter “What is the money for?”, optionally “Description”, “Donation target in euros (optional)”, “Runs until (optional)”, “Purpose of transfer (optional)” and the “Club bank details (optional)”. It must be the club's account, not a private person's. Then “Create appeal”.
Update the amount received
Donations are normal bank transfers to the club. Use “Update total” under “Received so far (euros)” to enter from your bank statements how much has arrived.
View pledges
Members pledge non-bindingly and choose who sees their pledge: “Anonymous”, “Visible to all members” or “Only for the initiator”. As initiator you see all pledges with names. Do not pass them on if someone wanted to stay anonymous.
End the appeal
“End” closes the appeal (“Appeal ended.”). “Delete” removes it for all members.

Sık karşılaşılan hatalar ve çözümler
- “Please enter a donation target in euros, e.g. 1500 or 250.50.”
- Enter the target as a number without a currency sign or leave the field empty.
- “The appeal could not be created.”
- Check the highlighted fields, especially dates and amounts.
- “Donation appeals are managed by the club leadership.”
- You lack the right “Manage finances”. Ask the leadership for the office or role.
- “This donation appeal has ended.” (when pledging)
- An ended appeal no longer accepts pledges. Create a new one.
Bilmekte fayda var
- There is no payment processing through CLUP.life: a pledge is a non-binding declaration of intent, the money is transferred directly to the club.
- The amount and comment of a pledge are stored encrypted; the pledge is deleted with the account.
- A donation receipt exists only for donations actually received, never for pledges (see “Issue donation receipts”).
