Show a news feed on your club’s own website
Show your club’s public posts as a widget or feed (RSS, Atom, JSON) on your website – without cookies and without tracking.
EventsBasic (free)Checked on 07.11.2026
Prerequisites
- The leadership right “Edit organization” (directly in the organization)
- The organization and its “News” section are publicly visible
Who may do this?
Only the organization’s own leadership can set this up; everyone else does not see the page. Only posts with the visibility “public” appear in the feed.
Step by step
Switch on the news feed
Open “Manage → News feed for the website” and switch the news feed on. It is off by default. Choose whether each post shows a short text excerpt or only the title with a link.
Embed the widget
Choose the design (automatic light/dark, light or dark) and the number of posts, copy the code and paste it where you want it on your website. The preview shows what it looks like. The widget shows “Posted via CLUP.life” with a link.
Or use the feed
For feed readers and website builders there are three addresses: RSS, Atom and JSON Feed. They are public, read-only and page through older posts with a cursor.
You can find the feature here: /organisation/[slug]/newsfeed
Common errors and solutions
- The widget says “The news feed is not available”.
- Check that the news feed is switched on, that the organization is publicly visible and that the “News” section is set to “public”. The settings page names the reason.
- A post is missing from the feed.
- Only published posts with the visibility “public” appear. Scheduled, deleted and member-only or club-only posts never do. New posts appear after five minutes at the latest.
- The widget does not show on my website.
- If your page does not allow scripts, use the iframe code. If a content filter on your page blocks foreign frames, allow the CLUP.life address.
Good to know
- The feed contains the title, a short text excerpt, the date and the link to the post – with only your organization’s name as the sender. No images, comments or names of people; mentions are removed.
- A public post can be found on the web. Check what it says before you publish.
