Offer a public calendar for the club website
The public calendar shows only events with the visibility “public” — to subscribe to and to embed on the club website.

Prerequisites
- The organization is public and its events section is public
- You have the permission “Edit all events” in this organization
Who may do this?
Whoever has the permission “Edit all events” in this organization itself (event leadership) may switch it on and off; a permission inherited from the association is not enough. Everyone else does not see the feature.
Step by step
Open the page
Open the organization, then “Events”, “More” and “Subscribe to calendar”.
Switch it on
Turn on “Offer a public calendar”. If the organization or its events section is not public, the page says so; change the visibility first.
Use the address
Use “Copy address” or “Copy subscription address (webcal)”. On the club website, link “Subscribe to calendar” to the webcal address, or enter the address in Google Calendar, Outlook or a website calendar module (iCal feed).
Switch it off
Turn the switch off again. The address then returns nothing immediately; subscribers no longer receive events.
You can find the feature here: /organisation/[slug]/kalender-export
Common errors and solutions
- “The public calendar needs a public organization with a public events section.”
- Set the visibility of the organization and of the events section to “public”.
- An event is missing from the public calendar.
- Only events with the visibility “public” appear. Events for “Members” and “Invited people only” never do.
Good to know
- The public calendar contains title, time, place and a shortened description, but never participants, registrations or conference links.
- Public means anyone on the internet can subscribe to the events.
- New, changed and cancelled public events appear automatically; the address never changes.
