Write, vote and propose events in the club and group chat
In the chat of your club or group you write to each other, vote with a chat poll and propose events.

Prérequis
- You are a member of the club or group and have a group chat.
- For child accounts the parental setting “Chat” must not be blocked.
Qui peut le faire ?
Members of the chat can write, vote and propose events. Pinning messages is reserved to the group leadership. A chat in the name of an organization is created by its leadership team (permission “Moderate content”) with active members.
Pas à pas
Open the chat
Open “Messages”. Club and group chats are marked in the list as “Club” or “Group”. The home page can filter by the chosen organization.
Write
Press Enter to send, Shift and Enter for a new line. Reply, forward, copy text and edit your own messages are in the menu of a message.
Poll in the chat
In the menu “More: voice message, poll, event” choose “Create poll”. Enter the question and at least two answers, switch on “Allow multiple answers” or “Vote anonymously” if needed and click “Send poll”. Everyone in the conversation can vote.
Propose an event
Choose “Propose event”, enter title, date, start and optionally end and place and click “Send event”. Everyone can accept or decline. With “Add as club event” the event also appears in the club calendar – this works only if you may create events there.
Share a club or event
With “Share club or event” you send a link to a club or event into the chat.
Mute
With “Mute conversation” (1 hour, 1 day, 1 week or permanently) you get no notification for new messages; they still appear in the list.

Erreurs fréquentes et solutions
- “Messages to this person are not possible.”
- The person has set who may write to them, or has blocked you.
- “Not all selected people can take part in a conversation.”
- At least one person is blocked or (for child accounts) not released. For privacy reasons it is not said who.
- “Only the group leadership can pin messages.”
- Ask the group leadership.
- “A poll needs at least two different answers.”
- Add a second, different answer via “+ Add answer”.
- “A club event can only be created in club chats.”
- In an ordinary group chat the event proposal stays in the chat and appears in no calendar.
Bon à savoir
- The contents of conversations are stored encrypted.
- With a child account no voice messages can be sent and no events proposed.
- Important announcements belong on the notice board, not only in the chat: there a read confirmation can be required.
