Delete your account (with a 30-day grace period)

You request deletion with your password; the account is locked immediately and deleted irrevocably after 30 days.

Wymagania

Anyone can delete their own account. Child accounts for which you are the sole legal guardian are deleted with it.

Secure your data
If you need a copy, choose “Download data” under “Settings → Privacy” (see “Download a copy of your data”).
Request deletion
Under “Erasure” (Art. 17) choose “Delete account”, read the notes and enter “Your password to confirm”. Then “Request deletion”. The message “Deletion requested.” appears.
Grace period
The account is locked immediately. Within 30 days you can still sign in and see “Deletion in progress”. With “Cancel deletion” your account stays (“Deletion canceled. Your account remains.”).
After 30 days
Your account and all personal data are removed irrevocably.

“The password is wrong.”: Enter your current password; if needed use “Forgot your password?” before deleting.
“The request did not work.”: Try again.
I only want a break.: Use “Deactivate account” instead (see “Manage consents, object to processing and deactivate your account”); all data is kept.

Posts and comments in ongoing discussions remain in substance but lose any link to you – otherwise the threads would be unintelligible to everyone else. Personal posts on your own profile disappear with the account.
Child accounts for which you are the sole legal guardian are also deleted, because without a legal guardian there is no longer a basis for consent.
Records that a club must retain by law (for example copies of donation receipts) stay with the club without a link to your account.
