Prérequis
- A child account for which you are a legal guardian
Qui peut le faire ?
Only provably legal guardians can do this. On the 16th birthday your management ends automatically – the account passes into the child’s responsibility.
Pas à pas
Open the child
Open “Settings → Child accounts” and the child. The “Account” tab shows basic data and actions; “Correct details” changes name, display name and other details.
Pause the account
Choose “Pause account” → “Pause”. The profile is visible to nobody, memberships, events and posts are kept in full. With “Reactivate account” you can continue at any time. A child account has no password – the way back leads only through you.
Download data
Choose “Download all data of …” → “Download data” (access and data portability, Art. 15 and 20 GDPR). The file contains all details stored for the account in plain text – keep it safe.
Withdraw consent
On the “Consent” tab you see purpose, time, version and proof of consent. Choose “Withdraw consent” and confirm. The account is locked immediately, visible to nobody and deleted for good after 30 days; existing memberships end with the deletion.

Erreurs fréquentes et solutions
- “Withdrawal did not work.”
- Try again. If deletion is already running it says “Consent has already been withdrawn. Deletion is in progress.”
- “The download did not work.”
- Try again.
- “Memberships no longer available”
- Since the withdrawal the account is locked; memberships end with the deletion.
Bon à savoir
- After the period nothing can be restored. If the account should only rest for a while, pausing is the right choice – withdrawal deletes the data.
- Withdrawal is as easy as granting (Art. 7(3) GDPR); every grant and withdrawal is logged without overwriting the old entry.
- If you, as the sole legal guardian, delete your own account, the child account is also scheduled for deletion.
