    Awards are private at first; you set what your club or the public may see.

    Names, contact details, messages and club content are individually encrypted in the database — on top of the server’s own encryption.

    GDPR from day one: access, export, deletion with a grace period, roles and permissions following the principle of “as little as necessary”.

What’s free, what’s Premium?

Your account is and stays free — taking part, chat, events, polls, and your data rights never cost anything.

  • Basic (free): events, chat, posts, polls, data export, and deletion.
  • Premium (optional): extras for your account are in preparation; the calendar subscription link is free.
  • Premium for individuals: €5.00 per month or €50.00 per year (final price including 19 % VAT).

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account to see my club?

You can view public clubs without an account. To join, RSVP, and have your say, you need a free account.

Can I be in several clubs and groups?

Yes. One account is enough for all memberships; your events and news come together in one overview.

Who sees my information?

You set that yourself in the privacy settings. For awards, for example, the default is private, and the club can only make it narrower, not wider.

My club isn’t listed — what can I do?

Ask the leadership whether they will set it up or claim it on CLUP.life. Setting up a club is free and guided by an assistant.

Can I delete my account again?

Yes, at any time. Deletion has a short grace period; you can export your data beforehand.

Where is the data stored?

On servers in Falkenstein (Germany); encrypted backups are stored in Finland (EU). Names, contact details, messages, and club content are additionally encrypted individually.

Are there ads or tracking?

No. There is no external advertising, no ad networks, and no analytics scripts. Instead of ads, clubs can win sponsors — openly and only with the consent of both sides.
