Receive payments: set up the club's Stripe account
How to set up your own Stripe account for your club so that sponsors can pay directly.

Requisitos
- You are an owner of the club (to set it up).
- You have details on the organization, the authorized representative, a bank account (IBAN) and proof of identity ready.
¿Quién puede hacerlo?
Only the owner (right “Manage roles”) starts the onboarding. The leadership (administrators) sees the status. Groups do not receive payments themselves; the parent club sets it up.
Paso a paso
Open the tab
Open “Club life”, “Sponsors” and the tab “Receive payments”. The status shows “Ready”, “Setup incomplete” or “Not set up”.
Read the terms
It explains how it works: the club has its own Stripe account with its own contract and dashboard, bears Stripe's fees, and CLUP.life receives a percentage of the amount paid as a platform fee; the sponsor pays nothing extra. By setting up you agree to the sponsorship terms.
Start the setup
Click “Set up payment receipt” (later “Continue setup at Stripe”). You are redirected to Stripe and enter: organization, authorized representative, bank account (IBAN), proof of identity and consent to Stripe's terms.
Complete open requirements
Back at CLUP.life, “Stripe still needs:” shows in plain language what is missing. Continue with “Continue setup at Stripe” until the status is “Ready” (“Your club can receive payments”).
Use the Stripe dashboard
“Open Stripe dashboard” shows payouts and receipts at Stripe.
Sponsors' payments
As soon as you accept a request and the sponsor pays, the payment block of the partnership shows the sequence accepted, paid, start confirmed. “Refund” returns money to the sponsor.

Errores habituales y soluciones
- “Setup incomplete” does not go away.
- Stripe still needs details. Continue the setup and complete the items under “Stripe still needs:”.
- The sponsor sees “The club has not yet set up payment receipt.”
- Finish the setup until “Ready” appears.
- The setup button is missing.
- Only the owner can set up. As an administrator you only see the status. For a group, the parent club sets it up.
Conviene saber
- CLUP.life does not see or store sponsors' card or account details; they pay on Stripe's hosted page. You also enter your bank and identity details at Stripe.
- The example in the tab shows how an amount is split (platform fee, remainder for the club, minus Stripe's fees).
- Members' fees and donations do not run through this account: CLUP.life has no payment processing for them.
