Take over a pre-filled club page
If your club already appears on CLUP.life with public details, you take over the page with a code only the club receives.

Requisitos
- An account with a confirmed email address.
- You belong to the club and can reach one of the stored addresses or the club website.
¿Quién puede hacerlo?
Any signed-in person with a confirmed email address can start the takeover. CLUP.life does no review, the proof is the proof. Afterwards you are the owner of the page.
Paso a paso
Start the takeover
On the club page open “Take over the club” and read “How the takeover works”. Then click “Start takeover”.
Choose the proof
You confirm that you belong to the club: either with a code only the club receives, or with proof on the club website. Addresses and numbers are only shown in part (for example v***@verein.de). One way is enough.
Confirm the code or proof
Enter the code the club received, or prove yourself through the club website. Also accept the data processing agreement and the terms for organizations and confirm that you may represent the organization.
Mind the waiting period and second proof
After the correct code the takeover is completed only on the date shown, for security reasons (“Almost done: waiting period running”); during that time stored contacts of the club can object. If a second person applies for the same club, a waiting period of 14 days applies and all stored contacts are informed. For associations, clubs with many members and youth offerings, proof on the club website is added as a second step. You can cancel the takeover.
Check the page
After “Done: the page is now yours” the stored contact channels and the “according to source” details are deleted. Now check description, contact and joining rule, and protect your account with two-factor sign-in as well.

Errores habituales y soluciones
- “Nothing to take over here”
- The club has already been taken over or no longer exists. “To the club page” shows the current state. If you believe it was taken over wrongly, use “Contest the takeover”.
- “This takeover attempt has ended”
- The attempt was blocked, expired, cancelled or completed by someone else. “Start over” begins again.
- “Please accept the data processing agreement and confirm that you may represent the organization”
- The takeover is not possible without this confirmation. Tick both boxes.
Conviene saber
- The takeover does not create invented members or contact persons: real organizations never get such details.
- Another person can object to a takeover. The article “Objecting to a takeover” describes this.
