Objecting to a takeover

If someone wrong took over your club page, you object, or, as the previous administration, you identify yourself again.

Wymagania

A signed-in account with a confirmed email address.
The organization was taken over from the pre-filled data (less than a year ago).

Any signed-in person with a confirmed email address who does not lead the organization can object. Only the owner can identify against the objection.

Start the objection
Open “Contest the takeover” on the club page. The note “How an objection works” explains the steps.
Identify yourself
You identify yourself: with a code sent to an address of the club domain, with proof on the club website, or via an umbrella association.
State the reason
Under “Why do you believe the takeover was wrong?” choose a reason, for example “The person taking over does not belong to the club”. Names or details are not asked for, the proof is what counts. Then click “File objection”.
Wait for the deadline
The previous administration is notified and must identify itself again within the deadline. It is not told who objected. If it identifies itself, everything stays as it is. Otherwise the administration passes to you. You learn the outcome by notification.
Reply as the previous administration
If you took over the page and an objection exists, you see “Confirm administration of …”. Click “Identify yourself again now” and identify yourself before the deadline ends.

“You lead this organization yourself. Objections are meant for other people.”: As leadership you cannot file an objection. You can only identify yourself against an existing objection.
“The takeover was more than a year ago. Please use “Report” on the club page, then the platform moderation will review it.”: After a year an objection is no longer possible. Report the page via “Report”.
“An objection to this organization was recently dismissed because the administration identified itself again. Please try again later.”: Wait for some time before you try again.
“An objection is not possible here”: The organization was not taken over from the pre-filled data, or you are not signed in, or your email address is not confirmed yet.

For associations and for several objections to the same organization the platform moderation also receives a notice. Abuse leads to the account being blocked.
Only what is needed for the proof is stored (account, time, channel). Codes, tokens and addresses are not stored in plain text.
You can end your objection at any time with “Withdraw objection”.
