Mostrar la transcripción
  1. You found a club in five steps. In the first one you choose club or association and type the name. Place and founding year are optional.
  2. In step two you say what the club is about. Pick an area, for example sport. CLUP.life then suggests a description and groups.
  3. In step three you decide who may join: by request, open to everyone, or by invitation only.
  4. Step four is data protection. You confirm the three duties of the club leadership and accept the data processing agreement.
  5. The club is created, with three groups. In step five you create an invitation link for notice boards and messengers, or you invite people by email.
  6. With “To the club page” you see the club the way members see it. As the owner, you manage it under Manage.

Requisitos

  • An account with a confirmed email address (not a child account).
  • You are allowed to represent the club (for example as a board member).

¿Quién puede hacerlo?

Any adult with an account can create a club or association and becomes its leadership. Child accounts cannot create clubs. A municipality is set up by the platform moderation after review.

Paso a paso

  1. Open the assistant

Open “Create a club”. The assistant has five steps: “Your club”, “Purpose”, “Who can join”, “Privacy” and “Invite”. Everything can be changed later.

  2. Enter name and place

Under “What are you founding?” choose “Club” or “Association”. Enter the “Name” and, if you like, the “Location” and the founding year (four digits or leave empty).

  3. Description and groups

Choose a “Field of activity”. You get a suggestion for the “Short description” and for groups. “Create groups right away” sets up departments at the same time. You can change or drop anything. Do not write names or contact details of individuals into the description.

  4. Set the joining rule

Choose the “Joining rule”: “By request (recommended)”, “Open to everyone” or “By invitation only”. With “Show the club page publicly” name, place, short description and member count are visible without an account. Members, events and fees stay members-only.

  5. Confirm the data protection duties

Confirm the three duties of every club leadership (use data only for the club purpose, take particular care with children, report breaches immediately). Accept the data processing agreement and the terms for organizations and confirm that you may represent the organization.

  6. Create the club and invite people

Click “Create the club”. On the final page you create an invitation link (valid for 30 days, revocable at any time) or invite up to 20 people by email. “Open administration” takes you on to the administration.

Errores habituales y soluciones

“Please enter the name of your club.”
The “Your club” step cannot be completed without a name. Enter the name and continue.
“Please enter a four-digit year or leave the field empty.”
The founding year is optional. Enter four digits (for example 1998) or clear the field.
“Please accept the data processing agreement and the terms, otherwise the club cannot be created.”
Tick both boxes in the “Data protection” step. Without accepting them CLUP.life does not create the club.
“Clubs and groups are created by adults. Please talk to your parents.”
You are signed in with a child account. Only an adult account can create a club.
Invitations: “The address was invalid or already invited for the rest.”
Check how the addresses are spelled. Anyone already invited does not get a second invitation.

Conviene saber

  • Choose “I would rather use the detailed form” if you want to enter more details (address, age range, accessibility) right away.
  • You need an imprint for the public page. Add it after creation under “Imprint”.
  • Groups you create here belong to the club and are covered by the same data processing agreement.
