Requisitos

  • Your club has set up payment receipt or wants to.

¿Quién puede hacerlo?

Refunds are initiated by people with “Manage sponsors” directly in the club. The owner sets up the Stripe account.

Paso a paso

  1. Who is who

The sponsorship contract is between the sponsor and the club. CLUP.life brokers and operates the platform. Stripe processes the payment. The money goes directly to the club's Stripe account; CLUP.life does not accept or hold any money.

  2. Understand the fees

CLUP.life receives 10 percent of the amount paid, a gross amount including statutory VAT. The club bears Stripe's fees. The application shows before payment how much reaches the club. The sponsor pays nothing extra unless it voluntarily assumes Stripe's fees where the application offers that.

  3. Withdrawal

The sponsor may voluntarily withdraw from the contract within 14 days as long as the acknowledgment is not yet published. It then gets the full amount back.

  4. Refund

The club refunds the refunded amount to the sponsor in full. CLUP.life refunds its platform fee in the same proportion. The club generally does not get Stripe's fees back.

  5. Payment dispute

If the sponsor reverses the payment with its bank and the club loses the dispute, the club bears the amount and Stripe's dispute fee. CLUP.life refunds its platform fee pro rata for that.

  6. If the club does not perform

If the agreed acknowledgment is not provided, the club initiates the refund. The sponsor directs claims to the club, not to CLUP.life.

Errores habituales y soluciones

The amount at the club is lower than the sponsorship amount.
That is the platform fee and Stripe's fee. The breakdown is shown in the booking form before payment.
A sponsor wants its money back.
First check whether a withdrawal or non-performance applies. If there is a claim, the club refunds; the platform fee comes back pro rata.

Conviene saber

  • No tax advice: How the platform fee and sponsorship income are treated for tax is for the club to clarify with its tax adviser (see “Donation or sponsorship?”).
  • The sponsor enters card and account data only with Stripe; CLUP.life does not store it.
  • The binding text is the German Sponsorship terms, Sections 7 and 10.
