Add the club imprint
Clubs and associations with a public page need an imprint; you enter it on the “Imprint” page.
AdminBasic (free)Checked on 30.10.2026
Prerequisites
- You have administration rights in the club.
- You have the mandatory details at hand (address, authorized representatives, registry court and number).
Who may do this?
People with administration rights in the club can edit it. The imprint itself is public and visible to everyone who can see the organization.
Step by step
Open the imprint
Open the “Imprint” tab of the organization. If it is missing it says “No imprint yet”.
Create or edit
Click “Create imprint” or “Edit”. The page points out: “These details are public”.
Enter the text
In “Imprint text” enter address, authorized representatives, registry court and number, VAT identification number (if any) and contact. The counter shows how many characters you have left.
Save
Click “Save”. Then “Imprint saved.” appears and the text is visible to everyone.
You can find the feature here: /organisation/<kennung>/impressum
Common errors and solutions
- “Saving did not work. Please try again later.”
- Check the length of the text (there is a maximum number of characters) and try again.
- You do not see “Edit”.
- You lack administration rights. Ask the leadership of the club.
Good to know
- Name, address and authorized representatives are mandatory. A private home address belongs in it only if it is also the club address.
- The note “Imprint is on file.” also appears on the “Manage” page under the duties of the leadership.
- You check the mandatory details under Section 5 of the German Digital Services Act yourself; CLUP.life gives no legal advice.
