Invite members by address list or CSV
You paste a list of email addresses or upload a CSV file; each person gets an invitation and decides for themselves.
MembershipBasic (free)Checked on 30.10.2026
Prerequisites
- You have the permission “Manage members” directly in this club.
- The list has about 30 addresses or fewer (file at most 100 KB).
Who may do this?
The club leadership with the permission “Manage members” may invite by list. Anyone without it sees “Club leadership only”.
Step by step
Open the page
In club life switch to “Leadership” and under “Manage members” open “Invite list”.
Enter addresses
Paste the addresses (one per line, or CSV with an “Email” column) or choose a file.
Check the list
Click “Check list”. The preview shows how many lines are valid, invalid or duplicates. Nothing has been sent yet.
Send invitations
Click “Send invitations”. The result says how many invitations were created, how many were already open and how many failed.
You can find the feature here: /organisation/<kennung>/vereinsleben/einladungsliste
Common errors and solutions
- “The file is too large (at most 100 KB, about 30 addresses per list).”
- Split the list and upload the parts one after another.
- “The list could not be checked.”
- Check that the file has an “Email” column or one address per line, and try again.
- For some the email could not be sent.
- Revoke the invitation in question under “Requests” and invite again.
- Lines are marked as “invalid” or “duplicate in the list”.
- Correct the spelling (“invalid (one address per line)”) or remove duplicate entries.
Good to know
- Each person receives an invitation and decides themselves whether to join.
- Only use addresses of people who would agree to the invitation.
