Set up the membership form (questions and consents)
You decide which questions and consents people answer when joining, for example “I have read the bylaws”.

Prerequisites
- You lead the club (club leadership).
Who may do this?
The club leadership defines the membership form. Anyone who may not sees “Club leadership only”. The leadership with the permission “Manage members” sees the members’ answers.
Step by step
Open the form
In club life switch to “Leadership” and under “Manage members” open “Membership form”.
Add the first field
Without questions members join with one click as before. Click “Add first field” and type the text, for example “I have read the bylaws”.
Choose type and obligation
Under “Type” choose “Consent (checkbox)” or “Question (text)”. With “Required field” the field must be filled in or ticked. Add more fields with “Another field” and delete one with “Remove”.
Save
Click “Save form”. “Membership form saved.” appears. From now on people who want to join see the fields.

Common errors and solutions
- “Saving failed.”
- Check that every field has a text and try again.
- “Club leadership only”
- The page is not available to you. Ask the club leadership to maintain the form.
Good to know
- Ask only what you really need (data minimization).
