Accept or decline membership requests and manage blocks
People who apply by request wait for your decision; here you accept or decline requests and lift blocks.

Prérequis
- The joining rule of the club is “By request”, or an invitation link was created “With approval”.
Qui peut le faire ?
People with the permission “Decide on membership requests” (administration, leadership or an office with the role Membership management) may decide. Everyone else sees “You may not process requests”.
Pas à pas
Open requests
In club life (view “Leadership”) open “Requests and blocks” under “Manage members”, or open “Membership requests and blocks” on the “Manage” page.
Read the request
Under “Membership requests” you see who applied and when (“requested …”). With “Contact” you reach out if needed.
Accept
Click “Accept”. “… is now a member.” appears.
Decline
Click “Decline”, optionally give a reason under “Reason (optional)” and confirm with “Decline request”. The person concerned is told about the refusal.
Manage blocks
Under “Blocked members” you see who is blocked. With “Lift block” the person can file a request again; the former membership does not come back to life.

Erreurs fréquentes et solutions
- “The decision was not saved.”
- Reload the page and decide again. If it keeps failing, check your permission “Decide on membership requests”.
- “The block was not lifted.”
- Try again; if the person is still blocked, contact the leadership.
- “The list could not be loaded”
- Reload the page. Whether requests are really missing is shown by “All requests have been processed”.
Bon à savoir
- Blocked people can neither join nor write posts.
- If a membership form is set up, you see the answers with the request. Details in the article “Set up the membership form”.
- A request can also concern a group in the club: anyone joining a group automatically becomes a club member too.
