Review sponsor profiles and decide reports
The platform reviews sponsor profiles against the sponsor rules, approves, declines or suspends – and decides reports.

Prerequisites
- You have the platform role “Sponsor review” or “Platform moderation” (or are the platform owner) and a second factor.
Who may do this?
Only these platform roles with a second factor; otherwise “not found”. Of the contact person you only see the name, never email or phone. Own profiles are decided by another person.
Step by step
Open the review list
Open “Review sponsors” and choose “In review”, “Suspended” or “Reports” under “View”.
Read the profile
You see industry, website, contact person (name), funding focus and “Submitted”. A warning-filter note names keywords of excluded areas – it is not proof.
Recognize an excluded industry
For an excluded industry it says: “Approval is not possible. Please decline or suspend.” Excluded are, among others, alcohol, tobacco, gambling and areas harmful to minors.
Approve or decline
Click “Approve” or “Decline”, enter the reason (the owner sees it; it is stored encrypted) and confirm with “Save decision”. “Approve again” lifts a suspension.
Decide reports
In the “Reports” view choose “Suspend profile” or “No action” with a reason. A suspended profile is immediately invisible publicly and its mentions rest.

Common errors and solutions
- “Own sponsor profiles are decided by another person.”
- Hand the case to another person with the right.
- Approval is rejected with an industry error.
- The industry is excluded or missing; decline or suspend.
- “The decision could not be saved.”
- Check that a reason is entered and try again.
Good to know
- If an approved profile changes public details, it goes back into review.
- No personal data for sponsors: they never receive member or user data.
