Accept a platform role: second factor and required documents
How your platform role becomes active: accept the invitation, set up a second factor, read and sign the documents.

Prérequis
- You have received an invitation to a platform role.
- An active, confirmed adult account.
Qui peut le faire ?
Every account with a role or invitation sees “My platform role”. Without a second factor or with open documents the role is suspended and the server answers with instructions instead of the feature.
Pas à pas
Accept the invitation
Open “My platform role” and choose “Accept invitation” (or “Decline”). The message is “Invitation accepted. Set up the second factor now and sign the documents.”
Set up the second factor
If the card “Second factor missing” appears, click “Set up now” (Settings → Sign-in & security). A passkey or authenticator app is required; backup codes do not count.
Read the documents
Under “Open documents” choose “Read and sign”. The German version is authoritative; an English reading aid is non-binding. Documents include, depending on the role, confidentiality, data secrecy and the usage and security policy.
Sign
Type your full name as the signature, tick “I have read this document and agree.” and click “Sign binding”. Confirm with password (and code).
Records
Under “My records” you find document, version and time. “Record as PDF” downloads them.
On a new version
If a document appears as “New version”, the role is suspended until you have read and signed it again.

Erreurs fréquentes et solutions
- “Please type your full name (first and last name).”
- Enter at least two words.
- “There is a newer version. Please reload the page and read the current version.”
- Reload the page and read the document again.
- “Your platform role is suspended until you have read and signed the required documents in the current version.”
- Open “My platform role” and complete the open documents.
Bon à savoir
- Confidentiality and data secrecy also apply after the role ends.
- Stored are document, version, checksum, your typed name (encrypted), confirmation method, a non-reversible value for IP and device, and the time.
- The platform owner needs no required documents but can sign them voluntarily.
