Open the link from the email or the invitation link, sign in and accept the invitation with one click.

- An account – or you create one while accepting
Who may do this?
An email invitation applies to the account whose address it was sent to. An invitation link from the leadership grants membership only, never leadership rights.
Step by step
Open the link
Open the whole link. You see “You are invited”, what to (club, group, association) and until when the invitation is valid.
Sign in or create an account
If you have an account, sign in. Otherwise choose “Create account” – after registering you continue at this point.
Accept
Choose “Accept invitation”. If the club requires approval, this becomes a join request and you get an alert once the leadership has decided. With “Not now” you decline.
Find later invitations
You find open invitations on the home page under “Pending actions”: the check mark accepts, the cross declines.

Common errors and solutions
- “This invitation has expired. Please ask for a new one.”
- Invitations are valid for a limited time (email invitations 14 days). Ask the leadership for a new one.
- “This invitation belongs to a different account. Sign in with the address it was sent to.”
- Switch to the right account via “That’s not me — sign in with a different account”.
- “This invitation link has been used as often as the leadership allowed.”
- Ask the leadership for a new link.
- “This invitation was withdrawn” or “declined”.
- The leadership has to send you a new invitation.
Good to know
- Joining via an invitation link follows the club’s joining type: if it is “by request”, the link also only leads to a request.
