Set font size, contrast, motion, language, time zone and color scheme – they apply to your account on every device.

AccountBasic (free)Checked on 30.10.2026

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in

Who may do this?

Everyone sets their own account. For child accounts the parents set it (tab “Appearance”).

Step by step

  1. Open Accessibility

    Open “Settings → Accessibility”.

  2. Set the switches

Choose “Reduce motion” (turns off animations), “High contrast” (strengthens the difference between text, borders and background) and “Optimize for screen readers” (hides decorative elements and labels relationships in more detail).

  3. Font size

Set the “Font size” between 80 and 200 percent; the preview shows it immediately. With the arrow keys you move the slider in steps of ten. “Reset to 100%” restores the default.

  4. Language and time

Open “Settings → Account”. Choose the “Language” (German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Turkish or Arabic) and the “Time zone”; date, time and numbers follow.

  5. Color scheme

Under “Color scheme” choose “Light”, “Dark” or “Same as system”. It applies immediately and on all devices.

You can find the feature here: /einstellungen/barrierefreiheit

Common errors and solutions

“The setting could not be saved.”
Try again; check your connection.
Parts of the interface are still in German.
The interface is being translated step by step; date and number formats follow the language immediately. Help center articles are available in German and English.
