Sign in and stay signed in
Sign in with email or mobile number and password, with a passkey or a second factor – and what “Stay signed in” means.
AccountBasic (free)Checked on 30.10.2026
Prerequisites
- A confirmed CLUP.life account
Who may do this?
Any confirmed account can sign in. Child accounts created by parents have no password of their own and do not sign in themselves.
Step by step
Open the sign-in page
Open the sign-in page and enter your address or number under “Email or mobile number”. A number only works if you saved it at registration or in your profile.
Enter your password
Enter your password. The eye icon shows or hides it. Only tick “Stay signed in” on devices that only you use.
Confirm the second factor
If you turned on two-factor authentication, “Second step” appears: enter the six-digit code from your authenticator app – or one of your backup codes – and choose “Confirm”.
Alternative: passkey
If you set up a passkey, choose “Sign in with a passkey” and confirm with fingerprint, face or device PIN. A passkey also replaces the authenticator code.
You can find the feature here: /anmelden
Common errors and solutions
- “Email address, mobile number or password is wrong.”
- Check the spelling and the Caps Lock key. For security reasons the message does not say which detail was wrong. If you are stuck, use “Forgot your password?”.
- “This code is wrong. Check your phone’s clock or use a backup code.”
- The authenticator code depends on the time. Set your phone’s clock to automatic or enter a backup code.
- “Your parents’ consent is still missing”
- If you are under 16, you can only sign in after your parents have agreed in their email. Use “Resend the email to your parents” to send the request again.
- “Your session has expired or was ended.”
- Sign in again; you then continue where you were.
Good to know
- Without the tick for “Stay signed in” the session ends after one day; with it, after up to 30 days on this device.
- You can see all signed-in devices under “Settings → Sign-in & security”.
