Alerts about your child: copies and decisions
You receive a copy of what clubs decide or ask for your child – labeled “For …:” – and can answer directly.
CommunicationBasic (free)Checked on 30.10.2026
Prerequisites
- A child account for which you are a legal guardian
Who may do this?
Alerts to child accounts go as a copy to the legal guardians. You set the channel (app, email, push) for yourself.
Step by step
Open alerts
Choose “Alerts” (the “Notifications” page). Entries for your child start with “For …:”, for example “For …: joining … was confirmed”.
Answer directly
Invitations and requests for your child you answer there with “Accept”, “Decline”, “Going” or “Not going”; for example an invitation (“… invites … to …”) or an event request.
Important things stay on
The category “My child needs my decision” and security alerts cannot be turned off. Everything else you set under “Settings → Notifications” (see “Set up notifications”).
You can find the feature here: /benachrichtigungen
Common errors and solutions
- I get alerts that do not concern my child.
- Check whom the entry is for (beginning “For …:”). Names are read from the current state; if the child is removed, it says “your child”.
- Chat messages are missing.
- Chat messages, reactions, profile views and suggestions of your child are not forwarded to you – the content belongs to the child.
Good to know
- Child accounts themselves receive no emails and no push notifications.
- The alert contains only identifiers and fetches the name when displayed; no copy of the child’s name is stored in the data.
