CLUP.chat now in early access

Synchronize group chats across WhatsApp, Signal and Telegram

New Web 3.0 technology CLUP.chat goes live today and lifts Messenger Market into new reality

Berlin, December 1st: CLUP.life today announced the go live of CLUP.chat, a revolutionary new Web 3.0 technology. CLUP.chat is a service, which allows users currently to connect group chats from WhatsApp, Signal, and Telegram. This Group chats will then be synchronized automatically. Other messengers like Discord, Skype, Threema, Slack and many more will follow. Users do not need to install any additional messenger or App and can continue to use their preferred messaging service. CLUP.chat is now available in early access and free of charge to all users at: https://clup.chat.

The importance of interoperability was also underlined by the EU which recently released the Digital Markets Act (DMA). “Digital Service Act & Digital Markets Act will create safe & trustworthy services while protecting freedom of expression.” so Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President of the European Commission for a Europe fit for the Digital Age.

Alexandra Geese, Member of the European Parliament makes it even more clear: “The DMA has one provision that is really important for citizens, and that is the interoperability of messenger services. Messenger services are those text message services, like WhatsApp or Signal or Viber, or many others, and so far it worked like that: if you wanted to go away from WhatsApp – because you don’t want Facebook using your meta data from WhatsApp, from the rest of the profile – and went to another messenger service, you could not talk to your friends anymore, everybody who stayed on WhatsApp was off-limits for you.”

CLUP.chat is the first service world wide which offers exactly this possibility of linking group chats from different messaging platforms together without sharing the meta data of the users across platforms. “With CLUP.chat, we give the real choice back to the user and prevent a lock in effect.” says Simon, Co-Founder and Managing Director at CLUP.life.

This new service catapults the messaging market into the Web 3.0 reality where interoperability will play a significant role” says Christian Borchert, Founder and Managing Director at CLUP.life, the company behind CLUP.chat. And this will be only the first step. The company already works on other interoperable solutions not only for end consumers but also for businesses and social organisations, clubs and community groups.

Features and benefits of CLUP.chat include:

  • Synchronization of group chats across messengers
  • No need to install any additional App
  • Simple to set up and free of cost
  • Servers hosted in Germany
